baby claire and snow day

2/2/11 - Suzy had her baby on Wednesday and did great.  She and Piper have made it sound so easy - I hope I have a great experience like they did.  Suzy and Justin's baby is Claire Dillon Tacl, 6lbs, 12 oz, 19" long and she has a bunch of thick brown hair.  She's very healthy and alert.  Luckily for me, Suzy and I will get to hang out while I'm on maternity leave since she is taking 5 months instead of 3 - woohoo.

2/4/11 - Snow day in Austin.  Unfortunately, I work from home and my company is based in D.C. so there is no sympathy for a light dusting of snow.  I did manage to get outside early with David and the dogs and Chachi, Diego and Mattie LOVED it!  It was fun to watch them run around in the powder with snow covered snouts.  Here is a link to David's picassa page with the pics of out Texas Winter Wonderland.
